Mary Byrne, PA-C

Mary Byrne, PA-C, holds a Master's of Physician Assistant Studies from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program, a military medical training program accredited by the University of Nebraska Medical School. She attended the program at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas as a member of the Indiana National Guard on Active Duty for 2 years, and graduated first in her class to include Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, and National Guard members.

In addition, Mary holds a Bachelor of Science from the Indiana University School of Kinesiology in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska in Medical Sciences.

Mary's other passion in life is athletics. She is an avid triathlete and competed as member of Team USA in the World Championship Long Distance Triathlon in Lorient, France last summer. She placed 1st in the Military Women's Division of the Great Floridian Ironman this past October and took overall Female at the Shawnee Mission Trail Sprint Triathlon last July.

Mary also spent several years working as a fitness trainer, snowsports instructor and ski patroller in Durango, Colorado.
