Cynthia Su, M.D.
Cynthia Su, M.D.
Cynthia C. Su, M.D., a native of Portsmouth, received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia, and completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Internal Medicine at Temple University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After residency, she served as an assistant professor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
She is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Internal Medicine, and is qualified to practice acupuncture in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She holds licenses to practice medicine in Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Dr. Su joined Advanced Pain Management in 2000. With a special interest in exercise and musculoskeletal medicine, Dr. Su has been appointed by the Governor of Virginia to serve as the physician member on the Advisory Board on Athletic Trainers in the Virginia Board of Medicine.
Among her professional affiliations are the Medical Society of Virginia, the Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American College of Physicians.
