David Levi, M.D.

Dr. David Levi received his undergraduate degree at Tulane University in New Orleans. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Charlotte Institute of Rehabilitation in Charlotte, North Carolina where he also served as Chief Resident. After completing his residency, he pursued advanced training through a fellowship in spine injections and musculoskeletal medicine at Louisiana State University. In 2003, he joined Advanced Pain Management and currently practices at the Virginia Beach and Norfolk locations.

Dr. Levi is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is an active member of several organizations including the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, International Spine Intervention Society, Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation and the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He has lectured extensively on back and neck pain as well as spine injection techniques. He serves as an investigator for multiple clinical research trials. Dr. Levi has a special interest and expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic spine injections. Other areas of clinical interest include peripheral joint pain, myofascial pain and electrodiagnostic studies (EMG). Dr. Levi lives in Virginia Beach with his family and is a saltwater fishing enthusiast.
